Re: Death to the Incumbent! Part Two: Now with more Death.

Jerry Brown wins... should be interesting to see what happens at California lurches towards bankruptcy.

I just want to let people know that I live in the tiny sliver of Anoka County that is part of the third district, NOT the sixth.

Re: Death to the Incumbent! Part Two: Now with more Death.

By my numbers and extrapolating the reporting precincts, Toomey wins.

Rossi's up early in Washington. Has to rack up a big lead before Seattle comes in.

The great travesty of our time is that he never found someone named John Berry to be his veep on a presidential ticket.

Yeah, I'm an adult. :P

That's okay. 8 years ago in Michigan the two parties gave us an Attorney General race of Cox vs. Peters.

I still can't believe any thinking person of any political persuasion could vote for Barney Frank. "Financial crisis" ring a bell, Massachusetts? Mortage meltdown? TARP?

Speaking of Peters, he apparently had a much tougher fight against Rocky Raczkowski for the MI-9 seat than I had thought. Guess he needed to spend millions running those attack ads after all.

Toomey's lead is all but guaranteed. I honestly can't believe they haven't called it yet.

Kirk following the Toomey path, now up 48-46 with 92% in. Still ballots left to count in Chicago though.

Re: Death to the Incumbent! Part Two: Now with more Death.

Chris Matthews jumped the shark a long time ago. He needs to get it over with and just run. Maybe next election...

It looks like Dayton will win the MN gubernitorial election.

How is Alan Page winning for MN State Supreme Court? Can it be anything other than name recognition as a Viking? Last I looked, he's got about 66% of the vote. Prior to his first term he had virtually no law experience, graduating from law school right around 2000.
