Former MN governor, Al Quie, died yesterday. He served 1979-1983. He was 99, exactly one month shy of his 100th birthday.
 
Bishop Emeritus of the Albany Catholic Diocese, Howard Hubbard. Man was a very controversial figure in his later years, especially recently.

yes. Became the youngest Bishop in the country when he was just 38 years old. Admitted to covering up abuse from 1977-2000 by moving priests around to different churches, out of “respect for the priesthood”. Himself accused of it, but nothing came to light that could be proven. Just a few weeks ago, he requested the Vatican to leave the priesthood so he could get married, Church said no. He tied the knot anyway, but it’s not recognized by the Church. The marriage killed him. Lmao.

In very sad news, womens 2023 d3 champs Gustavus Adolphus hockey team lost sophomore player yesterday. Four women who were freshmen on the winning team last year were in car crash yesterday in MN and one so far is dead.

And now it’s out that the teammate driving was the one who failed to obey traffic sign and caused the accident that killed her teammate
