Was the record holder for longest field goal for 43 years until Prater bested him by one yard (64) in 2013. But, because the goal posts are moved back, he’ll always have the record for furthest yard line kicked from (own 37) until someone boots a 74 yarder.

The point would be apropos if I dunno, there weren’t 2 Assassinations in front of hundreds of people (jfk), about 80 people (rfk), one has a plane crash breaks his back then 6 months later chappaquidick happens, jr and wife in plane crash on the eve of an announcement for a senate bid in NY, and now this. The other deaths appear in line with the circumstances of a normal life but you can’t deny the unusual nature of the above.
