Sloppy game so far.

Norwich leads shots 6-3 but most of it was due to a PP opp.

The Cadets look like they haven't played in a month...

Norwich leads 1-0 after one.

Sophie Leclerc with her 12th goal of the season on a pretty backhand from the edge of the right circle on an odd-man rush.

She made a half turn to protect the puck from a Plattsburgh defender and then flipped it into the net on Mackrell's blocker side for the lone goal of the period.

Brittane Michaud won a battle along the boards to chip it up and spring Leclerc on the rush.

Shots are 8-5 Norwich. The Cadets looked better towards the end of the period.

Lascelle went into boards awkward for Norwich and has not returned. Couldn't put any weight on skate. 'Wick skating with five D and that could become a factor in the third.

1-1 at 3:20 of the 2nd as Gove scores after a turnover in back of the Norwich net

Gove half whiffed on it but she elevated it enough to get it over Fortin's shoulder and put it in.

I'm having all sorts of probelms with wireless right now...otherwise I'd have more periodic updates.

DeBus hit pipe shorthanded with 4:46 left after stealing the puck on the forecheck from a Plattsburgh D.

1-1 with just over a minuite left.

Norwich with a flurry in the last minute but couldn't get it past Mackrell.

1-1 after two.

Norwich leads shots 16-12.

Better period. Still pretty sloppy and both teams look a bit slow. (That could be because I haven't watched a women's game in a month) :)

DiJulio with a brutal hit from behind; could have ben a major if the Norwich kid had gone into the boards

Prez you are not going to to get that season,s ticket now. You are a bad luck ohman for the Plattsburgh women,s hockey team. Hopefully it works on their men,s team when we meet them in March.:rolleyes:

Yes.

Their improvement from the East/West Hockey classic to the following weekend when they came back to play Norwich for the regular season game was ten-fold. It was like a completely different team was playing.

I believe the Pilgrims are still skating without a full roster as well which makes it even more impressive.

White is a big reason for the success and they have a quality win over Manhattanville. However, the rest of the six wins aren't exactly against stellar competition.

They could be a dangerous team come ECAC East tourney time again though.
