I imagine any team looking for HC will want to talk to Plattsburgh Assistant Coach Danielle Blanchard, not that she'd necessarily be interested in going anywhere. If the Cardinals win out, she could end up with three championships in three years as the Assistant Coach on top of the two as a player.

Final-OT

I don't feel well. I'm not in a very good mood. Adjust accordingly.

Adrian didn't deserve to win this one. We were flat from the opening faceoff, and blew a 2-0 lead in the 3rd, with the tying goal coming with the extra skater. We were slow, our passes weren't crisp. We simply were not sharp. We had a power play in OT, and hit a pipe, and missed the ensuing rebound into a fairly open net.

Don't get me wrong, St. Scholastica played fine. But this is a game that Adrian should win comfortably, and we didn't.

We got what we deserved tonight.

Final - OT

Adrian fell behind 2-0 before storming back in the 3rd and getting the game winner in OT.

St. Scholastica did a very nice job getting in our way, blocking passes, and tying us up in general. Having said that, our passing this afternoon was not good at all. We were throwing passes to places where we had no one in the vicinity. I hadn't seen us do too much of that this season.

Big game Tuesday night at River Falls. If we play like we did this weekend, we'll get barbecued.

They want $8 to watch the internet feed, and live stats just went on tilt, although that may be fixed by now.

I cannot believe they would want $8.00 for that broadcast. I watched my 77 free seconds and then clicked it off. I can go to a Plattsburgh game for $2.00 and watch the broadcast on my phone for free. I cannot believe they cannot get sponsors for their broadcasts.

That's what I did, too. It was a blessing in disguise, as I had about 65 things to take care of here at home tonight. I think Ferris charges $8/game to watch our D-1 men's team.

Just to compare notes, it's $5 to watch the girls here at Adrian, and our home games are streamed on our Youtube channel.

This is the first year they've charged...I'm guessing they will find that its not cost effective.

The evil NESCAC teams do not charge for women's games; attendance in person or to watch the game on line is FREE!
