Also interesting that Elmira got 3 #1 votes, but is only 5th in the poll. Feast or famine with the Eagles.... I know it'll all play out over the next several months, but since people voted on this thing, it is worth discussing!

mainiac have you seen a final roster? So all of this is speculation? Prez I don't see a roster on the NU website has Norwich finalized their roster yet, any inside knowledge? I find it hard to believe that they don’t have their team picked. I think every year the topic of roster size comes up…Can we put this to rest since they have been playing for a National Title the past 3 years...with a large roster. I look forward to next year when we again bring up the size of rosters...lol

Too many broken promises maybe? Hope not. :) I'm sure every player that makes the commitment to play expects to play. Not a reality here though I guess. Buyer beware! :)

Chatham University split with Miami University ACHA Winning 3-1 saturday and getting shut out 2-0 sunday.

Chatham will be much improved over last year, gurantee they don't go winless. Two great games, Miami has some girls that can play.

In answer to HockeyDMan....no I have not seen the final roster....Just commenting on the CURRENT size that was out for the East/West Classic that is all.

But CanHockGuy brings up a problem that could very well come back to bite Norwich.....players that commit to you (and I realize not all do) probably expect the coaches to do the same to them......and I know the coaches job is to get better every year but not at the expense of those players that they did bring in to be players for them and then they are cast aside for the next new model....problem is that if word gets out that this is a typical practice at Norwich.......Players are not going to want to chance coming to Norwich to find out they have been replaced their next season.....not saying it will but sometimes that reputation gets hung on a place.

No offense redhawman, but based on your forum moniker you may be a bit too biased. If you did split with Chatham, then they may not be that great. You may have a girl or 2 who can play, but you certainly do not have the depth of a decent D3 team.

It will be interesting to see if Norwich gets their act together against conference foe and in state rival Castleton this evening, but some of the games out west may shed light on things to come. Bethel entertains St. Olaf and Concordia-Minn, St. Thomas opens on the road against Lake Forest and Adrian travels to NCHA coaches poll favorite River Falls. Any insights from the west?

Norwich beginning to resemble the all-star team they in fact are: 5-0 at 11:25 of the 2nd

Charron (1st as a Cadet) makes it 6-0; real sniper goal with a fake sliding left on her forehand and then wristing a laser into the top corner to the goalie's gloveside
