Re: D3 Game Updates 2009-2010

Looks like Potsdam might have found a star goalie tonight. In her first game of the year, Conophy recorded a 57 save tie vs Adrian

wasn't her first game of the year, just her first decision. nonetheless, stellar performance. Just a fluke or do the coaches not usually see that when she plays? or maybe it was adrian. either way...57 saves are 57 saves

Re: D3 Game Updates 2009-2010

GAC pretty much dominated the game. GAC had 4 penalties. Point had 3 penalties. GAC had 43 SOG, Point had 23. Points goalie Phillips really kept them in the game. Points best period was the third then they held GAC to 7 SOG. Point had 10 SOG in the third. GAC scored twice in the second period. Their first was on a power play, the second was even handed. Time of possession was heavily in GAC's favor.

A lot of teams have one opponent that gives them fits, for whatever reason. For Plattsburgh, its Utica. It seems they always play the Cards especially tough. But, three points out of four points is still pretty good weekend.

Need we remind ourselves of a fateful 5.4 seconds on the clock in overtime at stafford a season ago?

Utica is one team Amherst has yet to beat. Too bad they're not matched up this season. It would have been nice to see if the Lord Jeffs could finally slay this dragon.

I agree that Utica has been a team to give Platty fits recently but not coming away with four points has to be a disappointment for Plattsburgh.

The Cards had a stranglehold on the ECAC West and granted, they still do but they have shown a little kink in the armour this week with the loss to Amherst and tie with Utica.

Still a very young team and I'm sure Houle will get them turned around again but they did expose themselves a little bit, especially if they have another slip up or struggle with RIT.

I still expect the ECAC West to go through Plattsburgh as their four points against Elmira is still reigning surpreme.

Re: D3 Game Updates 2009-2010

RIT 1 Hamilton 0
SOG RIT 47 - Hamilton 16

13 mins left in the 3rd

I am still waiting for RIT to beat a top 10 team or even have a good performance against an average team.

Tie and 1 goal victory vs Nuemann
Beat NEC 3-1
Beat Hamilton 1-0

How good is this team ? They are tough to figure out ?
