Amherst still has that core group that proved itself in the National Championship last season. Turns out losing Elek wasn't such a big deal after all (though this all-American is surely missed).

Oswego defeated Castleton 6-1 on the large part of the Laker Power Play... 3 goals and the win moves them to .500 with a 5-5 record and they will play in the championship game of the Rutland Herald Invitational at 3 pm tomorrow either against Adrian or ECAC West rival Potsdam.

Plattsburgh over Utica in the first 1-0

Shots are 11-2 Plattsburgh midway through the first...

Hier from Maxon....shots 14-5 in favor of Plattsburgh, about 4 minutes left in the first.

It has been stuck for a little bit - what happened?

Edit: The website says the video was cancelled, but still has the link for live stats. But, as I said, it stopped updating with about 2 minutes left in the first.

Utica scores at 3:24 of the 2nd to tie it at 2-2.

Could we have a repeat of last year's Pioneers/Cardinal series?

Edit: Utica takes a 3-2 lead: Hier from Glockling and Gonzales....8:24 left in the second. Shots are 25-11 in favor of Plattsburgh....off night for Mackerell?
