Is RIT going to D1 next year and are they in the draft? How does it work? I'm new, sort of. I don't see them on the list.

Are they in the draft? Not sure what you mean by this?

and No currently there has been no news about RIT moving their women's program up to D-I as far as I have heard.

What I mean is the D1 commitment list, sorry. I heard that RIT was joining the CHA but maybe I've got the wrong team, sorry.

did anyone really expect Adrian to get a win this weekend? They have wins against UWEC, RF, Chatham and 2 against FU. Getting beat 10-1 in total goals doesn't help the west's image. No wait, they're an eastern school :rolleyes:

No not really, but I figured it would be a little closer. I'm curious to see what happens when they play Lake Forrest. That should help determine if the west is any good. No offense but it is unclear who the next best western team is they all seem to be competitive against one another but haven't really shown us that much.

There were some musings by some posters about which teams could be added to the CHA to create an autobid. RIT was one of the schools that came up in that discussion. There have not been any annoucements from the school itself. Two years ago or so there was a RIT going D1 discussion on this board, but it died quickly due to the moratorium on D1 expansion. (This moratorium did not apply to new entrant Syracuse since they are already an existing D1 school, that just added hockey).

I don't know whats happened to Adrian..maybe somewhat of a junior slump. There first two years of existence they came right out of the gate and were on the verge of being pretty darn good. One would think that since they still have all those players, and they have been competing for 2 years at the NCAA level...that they would have been in line for a great year....something has gone horribly wrong.
