Re: D3 Game Updates 2009-2010

is it an even game or is Mville overrated as I expected? :P

Mville not raising much of an offensive attack. Mville pulled their goalie after Kivi scored from center ice...3-0 10 min left,

Edit 1). 3-1 7:30 left
Edit 2) 3-1 Final SOG EC 21, Mville 23. Mville came on in the last bit of the 2nd and again in the 3rd. If it wasn't for a couple of weak goals let in by Mville goalie could have been much closer game as Mville seem to gain 2nd wind after goalie change...back in 24 hrs.

Good game last night in Rye. Mville outplayed Elmira in 2nd and 3rd period. Dug themselves in a big hole 3-0. I will be curious to see game tonight. Two out of the three goals were very weak. Expect Elmira to play better as well!

Do you really believe that Mville outplayed Elmira in yesterday's game?

Trouble in Soaring Eagle land??

Yes and No...

A split at Manhattanville isn't horrible. It sounded like both games were really close.

One thing is for sure, Elmira doesnt have the offensive spark they have had in years past and I expected that losing Coady and Huntley. Plus, Cubberley kept them in or ahead in a lot of games too.

EC is transitioning and they've faced a pretty tough schedule to start out the season.

I think they were a bit overrated to start the season with the losses they had and even though they have three losses, they were all by one goal in close games.

Season is still young but Elmira is certainly behind the eight ball with the three early losses and games left against Middlebury, Amherst, RIT (2), Neumann, Manhattanville.

The nice thing is that will be battle tested on the road when it comes down to crunch time in February and March.

I actually agree with you..take away their scoring difficulties, and they have looked strong in all of their games. It is the end game that matters, they'll do ok..
