D3 Decisions: Running up the score

Re: D3 Decisions: Running up the score

Not sure I was being contentious there, but ... um, ok.

Interpretation is the key to keeping this thread alive instead of dead. Or am I missing the mis in misinterpretation..... What's your stance on yelling from the stands when teams are running up the score?

Re: D3 Decisions: Running up the score

Everyone is entitled to their opinion is all I can say about this one. I don't feel like going at it again about personal interpretation with you now since you answer your own posts. You see what you want to see.

Umm. Geeeez! I think I've done that...don't tell anybody,eh!

Re: D3 Decisions: Running up the score

he's a capitalist -- do you have to ask? He doesn't have socialist sensibilities (down here he can't be strong and free without dominating some of the rest of us --- we don't have the elbow room you guys have -- that's why you like the hockey so much: it's an excuse to rub elbows -- try the A train everyday at rush hour and your passion for elbows fades -- or you can move to VT and be a socialist)

Oh, OK just making sure he wasn't a Washington Capitalist....gotta luv that Ovechkin though.

Hey 5-4 ...Give me your best guess on which side is going to win the Brown argument. Goodness gracious, they're really going at it. Reminds me of the good old days. They're both running up the score. We have to pick it up here!

My personal opinion is that "Tastes Great" has it on the inside, "Less Filling" is stuck on the rail and "Creasemonkey" & "Phil D. Stands" are bringing up the rear.....:)

Well that's why I'm taking the trifecta, It appears to be a 3 furlong (or farther) heat on a muddy track with a strong field of 3 year olds, some old paints and a couple of also rans.

I don't mind tellin ya I had my original money was on that frisky Canadian thoroughbred.... "2 for chirping" but word from the track is he missed the call and never made it to the gate. Scratched. No refund!

Hard to keep up with 5-4. Maybe We will send Laracque in, heard he is available..

At any rate in the other contest, NotFromaroundHere leading the Pack, Cookie Cuttoff on the inside rail, HKY89 coming in on the outside for a late charge, RSTarr kicking up the dust right beside, Brown parent stuck in neutral in the pack, Ice is Nice and OnMaa holding their line to hold off the charge, Black Widow and Irish Birdie left behind in the dust. :) :D :D

Like I said ...3 year olds, old paints and also rans in the field...But the story here should be that 21 girls have made a wager, laid down there money and even though there are people insisting they have bet on the wrong horse, I honestly hope they all manage a win, place or show at the end of the race. That's where the smart money should be. I decided.

I think cookie will be ready for the glue factory after this race.

It depends. Have you actually heard me yell??

Seriously, there's a reason I stand in the corner ... but IF I HAPPEN to be in the stands, above the coach, who pulls the goalie on a delayed penalty while leading 8+ - 0 ... well, ...

there's a reason I stand in the corner ...

Clearly, the fact that the Brown thread is still alive is proof that no one wins that argument ...

Re: D3 Decisions: Running up the score

Look, for the freakin hundredth time....... You just said that RIT could have scored twice as many right? Do you get it yet! Your opposition will know if you're rubbing it in or not. That's what we're talking about here. Of course some things are unavoidable. Use common sense here, come on.....Were you or someone close to you playing for RIT way back then?....Just a hunch.

Your hunch is way off. And I assure you, RIT was not "rubbing it in," and I doubt you'd find anyone from that Neumann team who would say RIT was.
