Looks like UNH is getting a really quick start on their class of 2012 recruiting. Looking great so far.

Since our 'posters' on here are from all over, how about a list of the players from your area, or whom you are familiar with, that may be seriously considered 'blue-chip' recruits for D1 in 2012. Any names/position/team?

When it comes to blue chip recruits I think it's always easiest to start with players on the Team USA/Canada teams. That being said, I think some of the top recruits for the 2012 class are:
Haley Skarupa, F
Meghan Dufault, F
Cayley Mercer, F
Gabrielle Davidson, F
Courtney Burke, D
Erin Ambrose, D

I would add Kohler from Bluewater and Stacey from the Aeros to that list.

I posted on another post. But I have the question, who are the next developments for Hockey Canada? Alberta had a good showing over Ontario in the Canada Winter Games. Was Alberta just a better TEAM or are there players of note???

There goaltending was strong...other standouts were Josephs, Koeber, Odland and Sowchuk- who won every big faceoff she took.
