No, just stating facts. she is on the 2nd OHA team which is not nearly as strong as the top team and she's going to a new D1 program that has taken on a lot of mid to high end D3 players looking for a D1 opportunity. Some of them will last all 4 years and do well, and many of them will fall by the wayside as Penn State phases in the rest of their scholarships.
That's the reality of building a program, especially at the D1 level where scholarships are involved...and especially at a school with the profile of Penn State that is going to demand sooner rather than later once their scholarships are phased in that their fully funded hockey programs be more than just competitive.
It's not a knock on anyone. To get to that level at all takes plenty of hard work and a good deal of talent, I'm not denying that.
