I think if Clarkson had the head-to-head edge and led in all other categories (and RPI convincingly), the committee wouldn't swap them. But fact is they trail in record vs. TUC, and their RPIs will be pretty much a dead heat.
Actually, I think Clarkson's RPI will fall below UNH's if Cornell wins. Either that, or Clarkson will be barely ahead. Not sure. It's really close.
Well, I'm sure there will be some discussion. I can't predict exactly what the committee's priorities will be.Sending CCT or UNH to Harvard is cost-wise virtually equal. Or should I say, sending one of the 2 out west and keeping 1 east is virtually equal. However, giving an advantage to an underperforming UNH team that Clarkson has beaten would be a significant change in an 8 team tournament.
