I think it's his first try. He knows the players' names and he's not obviously inebriated, so that's better than a quarter of the men's broadcasters right there.
Just asking a favor... Can you guys put score updates in the Scores and Highlights thread? Thanks.Cornell scores with 34 seconds left in the first to go up 1-0. White from Danforth and Fortino. Shots after 1 are 6-5 Clarkson.
Remarkable than neither of these programs has ever played in an ECAC women's final.

That's pretty neat Kepler. When did Cornell's program start? I know Tech's is only 10 years old.

They won every Ivy title between 1976 and 1981, so it's at least that old.
What's the reason for Mercyhurst's sudden rise?
M'Hurst will come back down in the pack, along with CCT and Cornell next year. Some of the traditional powerhouses have suffered due to players lost to the Olympics.
It wasn't all that sudden....What's the reason for Mercyhurst's sudden rise?
UMercyhurst has been in the top 4 pretty much ever since (though they dippeed a bit in 07-08).
Now the program is strong enough they can be No. 1 even without Agosta.

No offense; I honestly had no idea.
Uh, yeah, Cornell is getting Johnston back and Mercyhurst is getting Agosta back. They're not going anywhere. They'll both be Frozen Four favorites.
Wisconsin and UMD are the only "traditional powers" getting anything back from Vancouver. They'll be the other Frozen Four favorites.
Minnesota gets not much back because the Lam's transferred to North Dakota.
I expect BU will be favored to repeat in Hockey East. They get Wakefield from UNH.
