Cornell Big Red 2011-2012

Re: Cornell Big Red 2011-2012

Hello fans of Cornell Hockey-

I just wanted to quickly touch base with you in regards to the Goals For Good project. In short, it's a competitive goal-a-thon between every team in the ECAC, and every team has partnered with a charity in close relation to their team, school, and or community. We're currently looking for more prizes, but as of now, there is $1,000 on the line going to the local food cupboard of the team that raises the most money. Please check out www.goalsforgood.org to learn more and support your team and their charity by way of their goals and wins.

Thank you,
Kevin McNamara

It looks like Cornell will be down 6 players for the early January series against RPI and Union. Not sure if they'll be available for the January 2 game against St. Lawrence.

Re: Cornell Big Red 2011-2012

What does that mean? Lol

Exactly what it sais, Check your Rep (reputation). Posters can respond to postings, and give it either positive Rep (Approve) or negative Rep (Disapprove). Most reputation providers leave comments with the reputation vote towards a post(er). The comments can only be read by the recipient, which is the poster of the post being commented on. The person providing the Rep cannot go back to see their own comments, after the Rep has been sent.

Postitive Rep can be anonymous. Negative Rep has to be signed.

Note that Rep is seperate from the messaging system. Rep is towards a post, messaging is towards a poster in general.

What OnMAA said. When signed into the uscho forum, you can access your rep by clicking on "settings" at the very top of the page. It is located between "my profile" and "log Out".

Interestingly when using an iPad this doesn't show up. I only see Log Out at the top. I guess I will have to log on with an old time laptop lol. Maybe tomorrow.

Re: Cornell Big Red 2011-2012

Maybe it's time to pony up for a real computer! ;)

LOL Thanks! I actually already own one, but I usually leave it at the office and use my ipad for internet surfing in the evening! haha. Anyway, I checked my rep and WOW it was great to see so many of you have left positive comments - so THANKS even if months and in a couple cases, years later! Oops!

Now, if you all can only teach me how to leave those rep comments for others!

Just click on the little star at the bottom left below the post that you wish to leave rep for. A little box will open up and you can then type away. Not sure if it'll work on your iPad or not, but go ahead and give it a try!

I received your reply rep! Thanks! My only annoyance with the rep system is it needs to be spread around before it will let you rep the same poster again. Sometimes that it takes me longer then I'd like.

Click on the "star" on the left hand side of the post. I just send you my Rep. Enjoy.

Note that there is a "Repometer". There are various levels of the Repometer, and you can track your count and level. If you get too many Neg Reps, the meter turns red.
