Cornell at Harvard, Friday 7 p.m.

Re: Cornell at Harvard, Friday 7 p.m.

I've been on the Big Red bandwagon to win the ECAC for most of the year.

You absolutely have been, hence my not-so-early morning confusion. Please accept my most humble apologies. :o

Re: Cornell at Harvard, Friday 7 p.m.

good luck to the Crimson ladies. I'll be sneaking peeks at my phone for the tweets from the Crimson whenever I can...

Re: Cornell at Harvard, Friday 7 p.m.

Harvard is dominating the first few minutes, but Cornell lit the lamp first just 2:34 into the game. White scored on a break-away. Young gets the assist.

Re: Cornell at Harvard, Friday 7 p.m.

Really, the announcers are going to wait until the goal is announced to name the player who scored the goal? (Overgaurd 2-0, Cornell)

Almost as bad as the Harvard D...

(both goals have come on breakaways)

Re: Cornell at Harvard, Friday 7 p.m.

Watching the video. That's just been ugly for Harvard. How can you allow an attacker to split the D like that when you're on the power play?

Listening to this play-by-play guy, I get the feeling that he doesn't do hockey that often. Probably someone who normally does basketball instead.

Re: Cornell at Harvard, Friday 7 p.m.

umm... Buesser looked pretty far offsides to me on the 2nd call (I couldn't see the first one)

Re: Cornell at Harvard, Friday 7 p.m.

2-0 after 1. Cornell has certainly looked better. Fortunately, Harvard's defense has looked much better than they have so far today.

Play-by-play is kind of brutal.

Re: Cornell at Harvard, Friday 7 p.m.

Good grief... another breakaway... but thankfully for Harvard, the Big Red didn't convert on this one.

EDIT: But they come back with a 2-on-1 and DO convert. 3-0 Cornell.

Re: Cornell at Harvard, Friday 7 p.m.

Cornell scores again!!! 2 on 1. Karpenko scores on the perfect pass from Fortino to make it 3-0.

Re: Cornell at Harvard, Friday 7 p.m.

This game is funny. Harvard dominates territorially, but Cornell's speed just kills in transition.

Re: Cornell at Harvard, Friday 7 p.m.

4-0 now. I didn't see the goal, though. What happened?

Make that 5-0. Karpenko got that one.

I missed the fourth one too. And now Cornell has just scored a fifth on a screened shot from the left halfwall. That's all for Bellamy.
