Re: College Football III: We may lose, but we keep the score close!

What an unbelievable, tight, hard-fought game. Multiple times it looked like either team was done. Can't say I've ever seen a team force overtime with a blocked PAT and then also win in overtime on a blocked PAT! Took me awhile to get to sleep last night after watching that one! Vontaze Burfict came of age last night, being a one-man wrecking ball for ASU.

When Zendejas low-kicked the not-quite-game-winning PAT right into ASU's rush (which was pretty good, to be honest), you just knew ASU was going to find a way to win. I was thinking: holy ****, that is ridiculous. I hope Bob hasn't already turned off the TV.

Then Arizona rebounded, scored that TD, and it looked like they might somehow recover from that heartbreaker...maybe even win it after all...

... and then the. same. exact. thing. happens. again. Giving ASU the win. :D ?!?

You just can't make that up. Fun game to watch. Muct have been even better to have a real rooting interest in it.

Go South Carolina! Go Oregon State! Both win and then the BCS gets REALLY interesting.

Potentially awesome alert.

Snowing for the Cincy v Pitt game.

Could be the worst game ever, or the most interesting.

Re: College Football III: We may lose, but we keep the score close!

It's probably still Oregon and Auburn in the final if that happens.
I think at most TCU would steal one of their spots. Probably Oregon's. OSU is .500 or under and they are already #2. So they would probably fall out.

TCU, WI are the next 2 in line.

Re: College Football III: We may lose, but we keep the score close!

OSU is 5-6 and needs the win to get bowl eligible. So yea it would be Oregon that loses it's spot.

TCU and Stanford; WI is #5. Granted if Oregon loses it probably doesn't help Stanford's standing though.

Why is Army/Navy next week? It's always been the first weekend in December. Did they move it to avoid ratings competition with all the conference championships?

They wanted to go back to making it the final game of the regular season. Although I'm sure that competition with the conference championships also played a part.

Yeah I remember reading how it would not factor into any BCS calculations, though I think it would be awesome if a game played a week after the selections are done would change something.

Typical of a fanbase whose team destroyed the Big East.

Wow, OSU had that 4th down pass covered.

Need moar tackling.

Meanwhile, in Atlanta, Auburn wastes no time getting out to an early lead. The eyes of TCU fans are on Corvallis, I guess.

Wouldn't it be cruel if a missed PAT cost Oregon a shot at the title?
