Re: College Football III: We may lose, but we keep the score close!

It already cost the best team their chance. ;)

I mean missed FG's obviously.

If the XP costs Oregon, the happiest man on the planet will be Kyle Brotzman.

EDIT: Beard hits a FG to put the Ducks up 9-7.

Dear John Saunders (and other BCS apologists)

Tonight's UConn-USF game is not "just like a playoff." Stop pretending it is.

In fairness, Saunders just asked Jesse Palmer which team - Oregon or Oregon State - needed to make more adjustments at halftime.

how about . . . the team getting its arse kicked? They would be the ones who would need to make more adjustments. I think.

Re: College Football III: We may lose, but we keep the score close!

Word of South Carolina's demise has been greatly exaggerated.

Edit: Never mind.

South Carolina scored to cut the lead to 21-14 and it looked like that would be the score at half. Auburn tossed a Hail Mary as time expired to push it back to 14.

Oh. Ouch.

Sorry TCU.

Ok, that chick that wont he tuition during halftime was awesome. Chest pass. Never would have thought of that. Ray Edwards taught her that, funny.

There's a certain symmetry when a student receives a check for over $100K during the SEC title game.

Book the Ducks for the BCS final.

Re: College Football III: We may lose, but we keep the score close!

And book Auburn.

So

BCS final: Auburn vs Oregon
Rose: TCU vs Wisconsin
Fiesta: Nebraska/Oklahoma vs Big East (West Virginia/UConn)
Orange: VA Tech/Florida State vs At-large (Stanford?)
Sugar: At-large (LSU?) vs At-large (Ohio State?)

Just a brief message to ESPN:

Suck it.

Sincerely,

Auburn

And before you all jump on me, listening to ESPN radio all this week all I heard was: Auburn is great but I'm going with South Carolina. Auburn had to come from behind when they played in September and since history is the only thing that matters to ESPN analysts, I'll let them revel in history while I'll bask in reality.

Then again, they might have chosen USC because they like Gamecocks... but then again... I've never seen them be much for the Game part. :D

Arkansas ahead of LSU for the Sugar Bowl berth.

I just saw that, but the committee can pick any team they want from the pool of eligible teams. I'd guess they'd want LSU's fanbase vs Arkansas'
