Code:
	Non-Conference BCS Non-BCS Div I-AA
	W	L	Pct	Games	BCS W	L	Pct	W	L	Pct	W	L	Pct
ACC	17	11	0.607	28	11	1	10	0.091	6	0	1.000	10	1	0.909
Big East11	9	0.550	20	8	1	7	0.125	2	2	0.500	8	0	1.000
Big 10	26	6	0.813	32	12	7	5	0.583	12	0	1.000	7	1	0.875
Big 12	28	5	0.848	33	9	6	3	0.667	17	1	0.944	5	1	0.833
Pac-10	19	8	0.704	27	13	8	5	0.615	4	3	0.571	7	0	1.000
SEC	19	3	0.864	22	8	6	2	0.750	10	0	1.000	3	1	0.750
Big 4	6	2	0.750	8	7	5	2	0.714	0	0	#DIV/0!	1	0	1.000
	95	28	0.772	170	68	34	34 51	6	0.895	41	4	0.911

The "Big 4" are Notre Dame, Boise State, TCU and Utah and are considered BCS opponents for the purpose of this data.

The ACC and Big East have comprised an impressive 2-17 record against BCS competition. Those are the only two conferences with a losing record in the BCS. The Pac-10 has played almost half of its NC games against BCS teams and have racked up 8 victories against BCS opposition. The Big Integer is next with 7.

The BCS teams are piling on non-BCS and Div I-AA teams to the tune of 92-10 (.902).

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

And more amusingly, the ACC and Big East's wins are vs. each other (NC State over Cincy, West Virginia over Maryland)

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

Mark Dantonio had a heart attack.

(no, this isn't a joke)

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

Hopefully he's okay. Very unfortunate turn of events for what should be a happy day in East Lansing.

Edit: ESPN reporting he will make a full recovery but will not coach indefinitely. OC will take over coaching the team.

A little tougher game than expected with Maine, but Cuse showed me something. Under GRob, we would've gotten tight and possibly lost. Under Marrone, we got intense and blew the Fightin' Dolores Claibornes out of the water. It shows that this team will actually play for this coach.

I thought it was a joke at first when they mentioned Dantonio's "heart". If they had mentioned personality too, I would have been sure it was from The Onion.

scary. sounds as if he is going to be ok. they put a stent in and he was doing well.

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

As an outside observer, he shouldn't have survived the North Dakota State loss in my opinion....

That was his first year with a crap team and that Bison team was very good. The loss to USD was much much worse.
Yep.
So you're saying he's got family in Big Rapids?

Unbelieveable call by Dantonio. First time I've ever seen the guy smile too. Time to fire Brian Kelly yet?

All but a page from BK's playbook. I don't recall BK ever faking a FG to the best of my recollections, but he was noted for going for it a lot on fourth down.

That's what happens when you play tricks on God's team.

Touchdown Jesus can't win the football game...

Touchdown Jesus can't smite people...

What can Touchdown Jesus do?

Having seen the replay, I'll say that the ESPN clock, WAS synced up to the stadium clock (it's on the right side of the stadium scoreboard...check it when the game clock is at 7)

That being said, Sparty DID snap the ball after the clock went 00...but I'm not going to flip out about it because I didn't stay up for the whole thing. And I've gotten used to Notre Dame finding a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

What's this quarterback you speak of?

You know, like Adam We... Bryan Cup... Asad Abd... Travis Co... Billy Coc... Cory Sau... Rickey Fog... Tony Dun..., um...Sandy Stephens:)
