Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

If you're the Big 10, would you rather have had the 65-21 game in Ann Arbor at 3:30? Or Toledo beating Purdue?

None of the games this week are watchable. ABC/ESPN probably wishes they had an option to skip a week and pick two games some other week.

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

Well, Ohio State is the prettiest fat girl in the trailer park, so they get the 3:30 game against Eastern Baby Seal U.

Oh, and don't forget that Wisconsin flushed Peay 70-3. No, I didn't make up that phrase, nor did I make up the score.

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

UAB's kicker now 0-5. Missed from 30, 35, 40, 49 and 54.

Made both in overtime though.

The Big Ten needs to coordinate their scheduling non-conference. Ohio State-Eastern Michigan should never, ever, ever, be a nationally televised 3:30 game.

Why is this the Big 10's problem?

Rocky Top just won in 2OT

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

Well Notre Dame got hosed there. Unless the yellow line is completely off, Stanford wasn't close to a first down there.

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

Ha. I was going to accuse Michigan of running up the score. make that Big Ten. probably just readying themselves for college hockey dominance. :)

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

I think they needed to score that many points to cover for the defense. The last two scores were from the 2nd/3rd string true freshman QB and a tailback on his 2nd career carry.

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

I didn't think that Arkansas receiver was going to walk off from that. Looked like his knee went sideways:eek:

I could have sworn he had broken his ankle. They focused on the knee but he completely rolled his ankle on that.

Florida State up 10-0 on Wake Forest at halftime. Red zone turnover by Ponder and a clipping penalty that ended up as a missed field goal keeping Wake in the game.

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

I understand why Ohio St. is on ABC, but why are they still showing it? Hopefully they switch most of the country to Texas-UCLA at halftime.

Edit: Well, I guess Texas-UCLA is on ESPN, so that would be a little silly. Nevermind.

Wow. Arkansas with ANOTHER INT. Boise is frothing at the mouth right now.

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

With Toledo's win over Purdue, the MAC has more wins vs. BCS conference opponents than the Big East.

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

If they want to. Arkansas will just pass them in a week or two if they beat Alabama.

Possibly. I could see a split championship happening this year (not likely at all, but definitely in the realm of possibilities).

And that game is a blowout, too...

(It's on ABC here.)
