Holy crap, that's a TD!!! Never caught it clean, but thanks to the great D of USC, the ball never hit the ground.

edit- up, TD. Amazing. For both the work Tulane did, and how USC let them just go down the field.

And it makes me more angry how our game ended in a thud.

All that USC returner had to do was let it bounce into the endzone and they win it. Instead they got it at the one on the muff, which led to the safety and Tulane getting the ball back.

Safety gives Tulane the win. number 4 for SC won't be showing his face on campus for awhile

Bummer for Utah- keep it close, and once PSU gets a fast score, their QB gets knocked out of the game. Now it turns more into a blow out.

Interesting. I didn't realize it was the same at Oklahoma.

Then, he needs to hire one heck of a DC.

Might be a Big XII thing he brought with him

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh and his Michigan football program are under an NCAA investigation for multiple allegations, according to multiple reports on Thursday.

Allegedly, the investigation includes:
  • Level II allegations that Michigan met with two recruits during a 2021 recruiting dead period
  • A Level II allegation that the program utilized more than the legal number of coaches during practice sessions
  • A Level II allegation that Michigan monitored player workouts through video feeds
  • A Level I allegation that Harbaugh failed to comply with an NCAA investigation of the other four allegations

Maybe that's why he's talking with the Panthers....

Those look like issues where the NCAA would restrict the number of incoming classes- so it would be a good time to bail.

Am I overly cynical to think that everyone at every Power 5 factory is cheating all the time?

Absolutely not; they're all bending/breaking at least a few rules in the quest to gain an edge. A lot of the perennially competitive D1 hockey teams are doing it too, but we the fans don't want to admit it.

I have always assumed the 4 or 5 programs that reappear in the F4 decade after decade are all cheating comically. Nobody goes to class, "tutors" write papers, professors aren't permitted to flunk them, etc. An open secret like hoops. It happened in spectacularly public fashion at Harvard FFS. I'll bet it does in particular cases at every D-1 school (even a certain noble People's Ivy upstate). At the blue chippah conveyor belts, it just happens commensurately more often, but everybody has the same disease.
