What a clownshow that program has become compared to the old days.

This is a bizarre pair of sentences:
Mickey Joseph is no longer the head coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He might not be coaching in Lincoln for much longer as it is.

If he's not the head coach of the Cornhuskers, then he's not the head coach in Lincoln. Am I missing something?

I thought there had been some talk that he would remain with the program under the new coaching staff, but I might be off on that. Moot point now, however.

Yeah I mean in the old days you could get the Lincoln PD to overlook something like domestic disturbance. You call yourself a top level program and you can't even get them to look the other way there? I mean if it were murder, OK, but foobaw trumps wife-beating in the Big 12 consarnit.

:P

Apparently part of his deal as interim was that when they found a permanent replacement he could go back to his previous position as like wide receivers coach or some kind of assistant OC or something.

Boy does that seem like a very ungood deal right now. "The Patriots decry the acts of Aaron Hernandez and are taking this very seriously, so he will not start this week's game but only be available on third downs."

If USC loses the Pac-12 Championship Game, do you think their players will be able to transfer out to other schools in time for fall final exams there? Will they even stop by campus to clean out their stuff and just go directly to the next school?
