College Football 2022: “Here’s a twenty, bury two.”

The Penn St v Michigan game was an illustration of how bad TV makes watching football.

There was a TON of running- which mostly means few incomplete passes, and the clock flied.

Yet Fox made up for the lack of stops for unimaginable amount of commercials so that the game ended on time, and after quite a few noon games.

We are going to one game, but I'm pretty sure there will be a 4-5 min span of commercials in the middle of the game. Torture.

Nice Big12 game going on in Tennessee. UT has the worst pass D. Geez. Almost get pressure, but the number of times a 'bama receiver was WIDE FREAKING OPEN.

And I have to give Saban's coaches some credit- their receivers know how to draw a PI when they are the one dragging the defender down.

He's garbage, as were all the four horsemen of the most overhyped, parochial, hack sports press in history (Shaughnessy, Gammons, Ryan, McDonough).

Those guys are great. Its awesome that even Boston sportswriters live in your head rent free

Tenn Bama was fun to watch, No D and lots of gun slinging by the QBs. I thought Tenn made too many mistakes to win but I guess they showed me. The Tenn kicker must lead a charmed life, stutter step before the snap and football rotated side over side instead end over end. Bamas QB can think on the run, his size will be a disadvantage in NFL but looks like another Mahommes

Jayhawks put 42 on the board with a backup QB but their sieve defense gave up 52 to OU. They're reverting back to their 'get well quick, play Kansas' ways.

If I’m looking at the schedules correctly, it’s possible to end up with:

12-1 SEC Champion Alabama
12-1 SEC East Champion Georgia/Tennessee
11-1 SEC East runner-up Georgia/Tennessee
11-1 SEC West runner-up Ole Miss
