Old Dominion going to their first ever bowl, against EMU.
I have to say, if you are going to an obscure bowl game, going to the Bahamas isn't too shabby.

Not bad for a kid from Maine, the coach Bobby Wilder took a team from nothing to a bowl game.Old Dominion going to their first ever bowl, against EMU.
Sooooo many bowl games
Just watched the morning rant on espn about the process that chose the four teams. The last thing was to have 8 teams.
But they don't get that it would fix little, since 3 of the probable would be from one conference.
Sure, that will fix everything. Nobody will argue endlessly over that.

The one positive I see about going to six or eight is similar to how I felt when the college hockey went from 12 to 16 (really 14 because of autobids). I used to feel bad for some of the teams that didn't make it; now I don't because I don't think the teams that didn't make it have a solid argument to be in.
This year (despite the fact I hate both programs) I felt bad that Penn State and Michigan got shut out. Both proved on the field that they could really compete with any of the four that were in. If either had won, I might feel they were the best team, not just because of a fluke performance, field conditions, or bad luck.
This year, my cutoff would have been six; Oklahoma and Wisconsin, sorry, you didn't deserve to be there. And overall, I'm fine with four, because I think they got the right four.
Participation trophies.

I think you're wrong on Oklahoma, I completely agree that Wisconsin doesn't belong, especially if PSU, Mich and OSU are all in...UW had their chance to beat those teams and didn't...on the other hand, Oklahoma won a power five conference and hasn't lost a game since september.
Or not.Lane Kiffin to Houston.

Watching that game(that and college hoops). NDSU had a 20 play drive to score a TD before the half.SDSU and NDSU game. NDSU causes a fumble that left the QB's hands and flew back five yards in the air. Goes to review for if the QB was down or if the ball was recovered in the endzone for a touchdown. Instead of asking those questions, the announcers go to their stock of talking points and focus on if his arm was moving forward when the ball came out, apparently ignoring the fact the ball didn't even move forward.
