Re: College Football 2010: Dude, Where's my Conference?

Stupid.

This is not a game that should be indoors.

Chicago, Green Bay, Cleveland, Pittsburgh... all better choices for a neutral site.

Yeah, but its something that they will probably do later down the road perhaps, to spice things up a bit. right now, just getting the logistics of everything all figured out is going to be enough. Indy is a good safe place to figure stuff like this out.

Depending on weather and temp it wont have to be indoors. The roof does open... Though its unlikey the weather will cooperate (higher than 40 and no precip.)

I suppose you're right. It does make sense as a safe choice.

Gives them time to sort out details with other, more interesting stadiums.

you knew i wasn't talking about the hokies field, huh?:p

well, frankly, I have to imagine there's a residual contact high hanging over that stadium since the Vick days so you just never know ;)

Re: College Football 2010: Dude, Where's my Conference?

...And Ron English fails.

Ron English sells single mom's short.

In a July 31 story in the Detroit News, English said: "We wanted guys that had a father in their background. A guy that's raised by his mom all the time, and please don't take me wrong, but the reality is that you've got to teach that guy how to be taught by a man."

Don't take him wrong? How do we take him right?

English was given ample opportunity to explain his seemingly moronic and sexist comments, but declined to return several phone messages.

I understand the message he's trying to send, but that is not the way to do it.

Apparently Michigan and Alabama are going to play in Dallas in 2012.
