Yeah but the primary investigator left town in a ferrari with his new 22 yo girlfriend. Who could have predicted that?

Lane Kiffin to USC?

LMAO.

If y'all ain't going on probation for Bush/McKnight, Laney'll have you there in no time.

Kiffen being offered and accepting the job must only one thing: Ashton Kutcher turned USC down.

Re: College Football 2009: Where Championships are won by a majority vote

God, between him and Neuheisal, the NCAA ought to just set up a compliance office in Los Angeles.

Re: College Football 2009: Where Championships are won by a majority vote

The rivalry between Kiffin and Myers was short-lived.

Re: College Football 2009: Where Championships are won by a majority vote

Cripes, he used to be on the staff there, he should know they're a big turd in that pipeline there. Unless Kiffin has bigger problems at Tennessee with the female recuiting assistants there, not sure why he would want to go there when he's already got pretty good SEC jig.

Well, it can't help when half of his defensive backfield is robbing people at gunpoint in Knoxville.

Re: College Football 2009: Where Championships are won by a majority vote

Oh, and apparently Norm Chow is going back to USC as well.

True, hmmmm... maybe we can get lucky and both USC and Tennessee would both go like 6-6 and get invited to the same crappy bowl game. ;) :D

Re: College Football 2009: Where Championships are won by a majority vote

Ahhhh... All is right in the world. I can go back to hating Kiffin with a clear conscience. It would have only worked out better for me if he'd ended up at Miami!

Re: College Football 2009: Where Championships are won by a majority vote

Ed Orgeron is apparently riding back to the rescue as well. We're getting the band back together!

Kiffin, Kiffin Sr., Chow?

That's what we say on WeAreSC as KABOOM!

Not sure it is a good move, but it is a big move.

More likely they'll both wind up on probation. :D

Kiffin isn't bad enough to work for my canes. He just violates recruiting codes.

Current head coach Shannon was part of a money-to-players scandal in the 80's with the canes as an assistant. Now he's back as the program is in its "clean" phase.

That would only apply if Notre Dame got a bunch of old coaches together.

Anyways, I'm stunned. I thought Del Rio would leave J'Ville for SC. I'm wondering who will go to Tennessee.

Re: College Football 2009: Where Championships are won by a majority vote

Lane Kiffin has achieved the near-impossible -- making Al Davis look ethical and lucid.

Correct.

On June 8, 2009, the Raiders organization issued a statement about Lane Kiffin’s hiring at Tennessee. The statement read: "Lane Kiffin is a flat-out liar. He lied to the team, he lied to the fans, and he lied to the media. He will try to destroy that university like he tried to destroy the Raiders."

Lane Kiffin doesn't try, he does.
