God, Fox blows. There's been 3:49 of football in the first half hour of this game. This should be done around 2am.

Shush. Or next year, they'll have Joe Buck at every bowl game they televise. Do you really want that on your conscience?

Re: College Football 2009: Where Championships are won by a majority vote

They offered 500 million over 4 years for it. Fox offered 405.

It's rather asinine that said games would be on ESPN instead of ABC, but....

That ain't right. That ain't right at all.

That being said, I think I could've caught that pass. Not saying I wouldn't have fumbled as soon as I got hit, but still........

Good to see Stevie Wonder has a new line of work, designing football uniforms...why do they have red stripes on their helmets?

Re: College Football 2009: Where Championships are won by a majority vote

Wow, what a bad game.

And how about that Boise Community College Standing Band?

Nice to know that the Vandal Marching Band can beat the crap out of BCC's band.

But good lord, these teams are top 10????

The BCS has to be loving this... Since both the teams are sucking, they can spin in to prove that small conference schools don't belong

*shrugs*

It's not like they had better options.

Virginia Tech acquitted themselves nicely, but other than that. PSU/LSU? That was a mudbowl. And the field sucked, too. Miami? West Virginia? BYU? Three teams that crapped the bed themselves.

Edit: And as far as getting a non-BCS team into the title game? Well, there was no way to prove that with this matchup. Blowout? Just proves one didn't belong. Close game? Eh, neither team is all that good. That's why Utah's ****-kicking of Alabama was so epic. That, and because it made Saban cry.

Go back to the opening post in this thread and you'll know what I think.

Re: College Football 2009: Where Championships are won by a majority vote

Oy. How do you not expect a fake from freaking Boise State

Re: College Football 2009: Where Championships are won by a majority vote

TCU's OC ought to be fired for this crap. They average 256 yards rushing per game and have 35 passes, 8 QB keeps/sacks and 12 rushes not by their QB.

Re: College Football 2009: Where Championships are won by a majority vote

This game has had a lot of missed passes, but i wouldn't call it horrible.

I do think the teams defenses are playing well for what they are. Especially Boise being able to force TCU to pretty much pass on every down.

Re: College Football 2009: Where Championships are won by a majority vote

TCU has 1:06 and one timeout to go 99 1/2 yards...what a punt by Boise State.

Re: College Football 2009: Where Championships are won by a majority vote

There's no excuse for TCU having passed all game long. The biggest lead it's been was 10-0 in the first freaking half. They out thought themselves.

And now they have to go 99 yards in 66 seconds. Good freaking luck, you mooks.
