Re: College Football 2009: Bowl College Stupidity Rankings
Yeah. TCU ****kicking some major conference team wouldn't have looked good.

So now the only drama left is where Cincinnati goes and which Big 10 team gets taken.
Good to see it was Iowa chosen, but that matchup with Georgia Tech is rather dull.
Lets be honest, Georgia Tech and anyone is rather dull.
That said, go Iowa.
Oh yeah, and regarding Penn St, i'll just say "i told you so."![]()
Pretty lame that TCU/Boise St are playing each other. BCS Power conferences suddenly afraid to play these non-AQ schools?
And to flog a dead horse, I'll reiterate that Texas did nothing to deserve this berth over TCU or Cinci. Nothing.

I also noticed Cincinnati was #3, meaning they were going to the title game if Texas had lost. Not sure I agree with that ranking, but its clear being the team that played more recently helped them.

They started the season higher in the pre-season polls. That's all it was in my mind.

Of course Cincinnati would go, they're the one still in a BCS conference.
It's amusing that we could have as many as three undefeated teams when the year ends and yet somehow some people find that this system is ideal and works correctly because strength of schedule and rankings determine it to be right.
There really is one born every minute, the BCS just makes it a debate over exactly who Barnum was referring to: The people that believe the BCS or the people that still follow college football with this horsesh-t system deciding who wins.
