god... didn't that used to be BE#5 vs. MAC #1? Not that anybody really wants to be in Detroit... if UConn ever goes back to Charlotte I'd be tempted to go again.

ESPN's obsession with Notre Dame is less personal connections than the Sycophantic Fanboyism that also has them masturbating to everything Yankees, Red Sox, Tiger Woods, Tom Brady or Brett Favre. They're a celebrity tabloid which, by the way, has a sports theme.

You forgot the love in with Kobe/LeBron/USC/Carroll/Tebow. (Kobe/USC only to prevent the "eastern bias" thing.)

Leave Notre Dame to NBC and their non biased shills :o like Haden.

It should be noted that Pat Haden played QB for USC.


On another ND note, if you haven't watch much of ND (or seen much of ND's highlights), I would highly recommend watching this highlight reel of Golden Tate. There's a fair amount of pedestrian stuff in there, but also a bunch of really amazing plays by a guy that I think ought to be in the top two or three for the Heisman.
