College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

now 34-9, 1 minute until half.

Purdue shoot 16% from the field, Minnesota shooting 60%.

Wow.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Purdue losing is going to help Cuse. I still won't believe my Orange will be a #1 seed until I see it. I know how the committee works. :D :D :D

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

MN has started giving its lead back earlier than normal. At this rate the game will be tied within the next 8 minutes.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

I can't imagine the Gophers being left out if they hold on to beat Purdue, regardless of what happened against OSU tomorrow.

A K-State win today opens the possibility of a 1 seed? Who knows? Lots of conference tourney upsets this year, esp the Big East.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Minnesota is projected in at the moment after beating Purdue. But they are by no means solidly in.

Washington beating California could hurt them depending on if the committee see them as in or out with a loss.

Mississippi State getting to the SEC final is not good news either. As they would not be in consideration at all otherwise.

Houston beating UTEP was another negative.

I don't think the Mtn. West winner will effect them as the last 4 teams in that conference tourney would of made it regardless.

Illinois losing helps Minnesota as they are directly competing for a spot.

The WAC game tonight is also of interest, because Utah State is probably in regardless.

Utah State was in the same spot four years ago and got hosed. They should be in and probably will be win or lose.

Great ending in the Big East championship.

WVU wins with a runner with 4.3 left on the clock, and G'town can't get one to fall on the other end.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

As Kevin Harvick would say...West Virginia certainly had a golden horseshoe stuck their butt during the Big East Tournament.

De'Sean Butler could do no wrong down the stretch in every game making big shot after big shot. Wva's run reminded me of Syracuse's run when McNamara saved the Orange's bacon against Cincy and UConn consecutive days.

1. Kansas
2. Kentucky
3. Duke
4. Syracuse

Apparently winning the ACC in a year when the ACC is total garbage means a lot.

Go figure.

Everyone else in the South region is licking their chops.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Wow, Minnesota gets a #11 seed. That means they weren't one of the last 4 teams in (those are 12's generally).

Wake v. Texas. What a lousy matchup.

And nice job by that E Tenn State kid grabbing his junk on national television. Way to represent your school, idiot.
