Colgate and Starr's last season

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

In addition to the maroon port-a-potties we now have a red (not maroon) truck in the NAF webcam picture :)

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

So my son plays rugby for Gate, had a tournament this weekend in Kutztown, PA. During the first game we noticed a new player who subbed into the game and was very fast. Post-game I asked my son who he was & he grinned and said Darcy Murphy! He's back on campus after his stint with Elmira & was looking to stay in shape, plus he's clearly played rugby in the past. He made one hit that cleaned a Middlebury player off the sidelines just like he was checking someone into the boards. Anyway, we're glad to have him helping out our rugby squad!

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

Cam is down on the mudhole and port a potty, my fast forum says the new interior cam will be up and running mid next week.

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

We lost a defenseman recruit for next year, down to three incoming now, not sure who it was.

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

I'm computer challenged, I've been clicking on the site trying to view college street cam, I get a message saying either too many viewers are on (which I doubt) or I may have to change my configuration. I don't know what that means or how to do it, any help ?? Tx

Glancing at the Heisenberg spread sheet, one youngster that played prep this past season was pushed back a year, that's all. He will likely head to a Jr. A league. With six defensemen returning, three incoming will give you nine and that should be more than enough.

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

It won't help Shabby, but the interior view is now up and viewable through the same link as the exterior web cam. Not much going on but it looks like only finish work (boards, rails, seats, etc.) is left to be done in any event.

Flaggy, you're good with computers, maybe you can help me. When I click on the webcam I get a message saying, either too many people are viewing or I need to change my computer configuration. Magoo, are you here ? Waited months and can't get it to work. Anyone else having a problem ?

Taking a quick look at the HTML, the message you're seeing is the "alt" tag for the image block that displays the picture. This tells me, for some reason, the picture isn't loading. Do you know what browser version you are using? You should be able to find this if you go to Help -> About on your browser (or something equivalent to that). Some of the older browsers don't necessarily have the plug-ins you'd need to run this, or don't support some of the newer coding standards used in the business.

If you use Internet Explorer, consider switching to/installing Google Chrome, esp. for webcams and videos.

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

Sad news for the Colgate hockey family. Greg Menges '91 died recently. No details as to the cause of death. He was living in the Boston area with his two children. Thoughts and prayers are with his devoted family and friends. RIP, Greg.

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

Anyone know if they're tearing down Starr or keeping it as a practice and recreational facility? It would be great for the students and community if they could keep it

As much as I would wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment of using something other than internut exploder, the Microsoft stuff might be usable. My fear is that sshablak is still on IE8 or IE9; the next versions saw very significant changes in the workings of applications.

Doesn't work in IE11 or Edge for me. Chrome is ok except there wasn't much going on at 8pm last night.

Knowing his level of technological sophistication pretty well, I'm betting Shabby's running whatever came installed on his machine! Prove me wrong my friend... tell us which browser you're using!

Cams work fine on Firefox by the way, no issues.
