Colgate 2024-25 Harder Hockey

If you use Facebook, go to the ECAC Hockey page and check out their current MIH stat leaders. Colgate and its players are mentioned on all but the last two pages. You can’t help but feel proud when you do. They may also be on the ECAC Hockey webpage. Not sure.

Thanks Iowa...I didn't know that site existed on FB. Also...hope the new Fan Forum platform works better ! Weekend mornings have been hard to get on, at least for me anyways !

Shabby, I agree on difficulty in getting on here most mornings recently. I have also experienced problems during my in-game updates. Hopefully these issues will be resolved soon.

Like Shabby, this is just a test (as I am addicted to this site as I am with newspapers dot com).

Following Colgate to Clarkson and Saint Lawrence this weekend. A Split is my minimum goal and a Sweep is my maximum. Talent and Effort should get us there.

Great win...Takacs getting better every week. Congrats for the shutout ! Girls tied Clarkson with ten seconds left and won in OT 2-1. What a fun night !

Tonight was a statement win, and I hope it sets the tone for the remainder of this season.

Congratulations to Andrew Takacs on his first career shutout. He's certainly getting more confident.

HUGE win for us tonight!!
Andrew Takacs really deserved the shutout, as he made some incredible saves to keep us in the game.
I never felt comfortable until our second goal, though. We really need to try to jumpstart our PowerPlay. We very well may have again had a man advantage for two minutes without one shot on net. Not good.
We really need to stay focused and expend the necessary effort tomorrow night to bring home another win. To my way of thinking, that would avenge last weekend’s letdown on Saturday night.

Twenty second in the pairwise and tied with Dartmouth for second place in the ECAC with a game in hand. A huge crowd near the top of the league, with only a single win separating second through fifth place.

Iowa, you at least got your weekend split and a sweep is possible if the men play tomorrow like they did tonight.

Great win up in Potsdam over Clarkson and a phenomenal shutout for Takacs. Gotta keep the foot on the pedal now and not have a let down at SLU. Harder hockey is starting to come to fruition in year 2 and it’s great to see this teams progress. Hard not look back at those early season out of conf. losses and wonder what a split would have done at UML and UConn.

Tackacs getting better and better each week so it's nice to win a game where we were somewhat outplayed...would love to get Panetta and/or Labelle back ASAP...SLU has given us trouble over the past several years (when they generally have not been at their finest) and they are capable of big wins (and confusing losses)...

Using the customizable PWR tool on College Hockey News, had we split each of our series with UConn, UML, and Penn State, we'd be 11th in the Pairwise. It is what it is.

We've been either tied or had the lead going into the 3rd period in every game dating back to the Cornell home and home. In our recent wins over Princeton, Dartmouth, and Clarkson last night we "found a way to win". I would really like to see us continue this trend against St. Lawrence tonight - we never fare well in their barn.
