Re: Colgate 2011-12
Trying to be optimistic which you all know isn't easy for me
Great to see the games in person this *4* point weekend!!!
With 11 goals on the weekend, wish we could hold a solid lead! Other concerns are the number of soft passes and turnovers (lost count after about #100), esp. behind our own net & in our own zone. We looked more timid and protective of the goal than usual and less physical, allowing Brown and Yale to constantly set up in the perimeter. Allowing multiple SHGs...amazing to still come away with the W. Glad to see Evin start in net and sorry he couldn't have had a stronger night.
Instead of a 5min. power play, we fought back when Mihalek was plowed into the boards. Arrrgh, just don't get it!!! So many guys contributing lately, congrats to all of them. SLU is surging and Appleton is not kind to Colgate!
Great job pep band...nice tango with the Bears Sat. night
Go 'Gate
