Yes, but there is a possibility that the other TWCS feeds choose to simulcast a game. This past week, RPI/CCT was shown in Syracuse, as well as many other parts of the state. They have done that for a number of hockey games. This is why there was a possibility it would be shown out here.

Still numb after this amazing weekend!

We seem to play our hearts out against Cornell. If we played with this intensity every game, I don't think we would have had some of the losses we do. Honestly, I don't know which Colgate team will show up this weekend...Union has home ice, will give Smith all he can handle, and wants revenge. Dare I say I hope we take a penalty or two?! I'd say we're a better team than RPI and should win, but they also have an axe to grind and we need to be prepared from here on out.

If the boys can replicate Friday nights performance at Lynah tomorrow night at Union, it will sure make things interesting in the standings. The place will be rocking, just like last year in the playoffs. We all know how that turned out.

FYI The RPI-Cornell game will be on the NBC (VS) Sports network Friday night. Probably old news but thought I'd pass it along. That's 803 on the Utica TWC.

The RPI game will be shown on channel 1026 according to the Gate site. I just called Time Warner and they confirmed it !! I'm going to Union tonight !! Go Raiders !!

Guess I'll be listening to Gate Radio since no TV in my area :( Should be a great game to watch/listen to....

One of the other threads is reporting that frosh Colin Stevens will be in goal for Union tonight. Something about a lower body injury during practce to Grosenick. Not that we should be expecting anything easy, but the prospects of not facing the national leader in GAA is a plus for 'Gate...one would think.

Anyone know if B2 is carrying the game? Only have a rotating rooftop antenna, (no cable) but would dearly like to pull in the game. Please advise if you have any creative ideas :) GO 'GATE!

Internet video is available for tonight at http://www2.unionathletics.com/showcase (for a fee, of course).
Tomorrow, there should be internet video from America One (formerly B2), also for a fee.

And yes, we won't be facing Troy Grosenick tonight ... but that doesn't translate into a "W" for us. We need to keep playing like we did against Cornell.

Was Union's defense real good tonight, or our offense real bad? Hard to tell on the broadcast. Sounded like a lot of clutch and grab by the Dutch...

Union is a good team. What I don't get is our lack of intensity/confidence in this game (according to what I heard over the airways)......given what we did last weekend. Smith not getting a point is disappointing, but also may turn out to be a monkey off the team's (or at least his line's) back. Looking forward to the RPI game. Go 'Gate!!

Haven't won a RS game at Achilles in 6 years now...2min into the 2nd with a questionable penalty and we were done. Too bad we couldn't take advantage of their frosh goalie. We had our chances but didn't have that 2dy/yr Cornell intensity...hopefully the tables will be turned in Hamilton. 'Gate's losses are adding up and fear Smith's Hobey chances are dwindling with them.

On to HFH...

It's just a game. You win some, you lose some. On any night we play I prefer a win over a loss but give credit to Union, they're a good team. We'll spank them at Starr later this month like we usually do.

On to RPI. I was fortunate enough to get a ticket to this game and will see what this "Big Red Freakout" consists of. Just get the split and the 2 pts 'Gate...

Bill- I finally have you figured out...you aren't a glass half full guy, you aren't a glass half empty guy, you are a half empty glass got knocked off the counter and hit the floor; the glass broke and you stepped in the broken glass and cut your foot type of guy.

Harvard and Clarkson coming on...NEED a win tonight against an improving RPI team...I believe 12-9-1 will get us third or fourth seed...there will be games where the Smith line is kept off the scoreboard...glad to see our fourth line contribute, but, again, second and third lines HAVE to chip in and that's not happening...

I thought Union played a tremendous defensive game. Very physical, Smith was ridden into the boards so hard I wondered if he would get up. Alot like the playoff games last year, the difference I thought last night was that Union was winning the battles on the boards deep in both ends. We came out and clearly won the first ten minutes but Union won the second ten.

We outshot them but no second chances, Stephens made the first save and that's all there was. He looked shaky but we couldn't get enough shots, he did what he had to, best stop was a shorthanded attempt by Smith but he gloved it.

All in all we played fairly well, but, no sustained offense did us in. Union is a very good team, and losing 3-1 away and an open netter is by far no disgrace to our program. Need to win tonight in this wacky league and RPI is an improving team. Glad it's on tv. Go Gate !

another point...we lost the face-off battle last night 40-19...especially against a team like Union - big, physical - this is a very poor number...step it up tonight guys...everybody's beating everybody else...9-6-1 looks pretty good right now
