I was surprised by the Princeton team that lost at Lynah 4-0 tonight. Very susceptible to the forecheck, tentative on the breakout -- not at all like the last few years. Their goalie (Bonar) played quite well until the middle of the third but they are just too thin after the first two lines and the first D pair. Now we just gotta get the sweep tomorrow. Princeton's had our number too recently; it's payback time for the Tigers too!
Thanks for the scouting report, Kepler. Hope this holds true on Sat...I was surprised by the Princeton team that lost at Lynah 4-0 tonight. Smith continues to impress, what a season so far.
Let's hope last night was our "bad" game of the weekend and we can get back to winning on Saturdays.
Hockeyenthusiast, ask and ye shall receive. 4 point weekend.
How sweep it is![]()
I listened to the 3rd and GateRadio (at least I'm assuming it was him) also said that the Tigers hit four posts on the game.4-1 scoreline flatters Princeton. I listened to the game today and Colgate really outplayed the Tigers, but their goalie really kept them in it.
Silver Puck weekend, bobbleheads, food donations, 60's teams reunions, Bucknell game beforehand, pizza in lobby, relatively nice driving weather..what's not to like? Should be a decent tournout. Hope there will be some tickets left at the walkup window!
Not to mention the awesome Austin Smith. What is up with Colgate's attendance?![]()

904 on Friday, 1080 on Saturday after Smith gets a natural hat-trick. The Colgate community really needs to realize what they're missing.
