I'm going to be nice here. You are replacing Minnesota and Wisconsin with Ferris, Northern, Lake State, Western and Alaska. Despite having a net gain of three teams, you have a net loss in number of fans. But lets assume that it's a wash and you have the same number of fans. I have a couple questions.
Where will this tournament be held?
How will you get the same number of fans to attend the tournament as currently attend the F5?
But again, let's assume this new league gets the same number of fans as the WCHA currently does at the F5. I have some more questions.
How are you going to add more teams to the league without affecting the amount of money each school gets from the tournament? Is it even possible?
I say no. Because in the real world you'll have less people going to the tournament which means less money in ticket sales. Combine this with more teams in the league and it means dramatically less money to each school.
Make the tournment bigger and let more teams in.
