Re: Campaign 2016 - Snow White and the 7 dwarfs.
Scoobs is right. Slap Shot & Handy = Naderlosers.
So I'll say again, nothing is more pathetic than the laughable person who backs a sure loser and then claims its on principle when in reality they just don't like sticking their noses out and taking sides when the outcome isn't pre-ordained. I have no idea who will be elected President next year, but at least I can tell you who I'm rooting for and will take the heat (or dish it out

) depending on the outcome. Sanders/Nader/etc voters all get to say their guy lost not because of crackpot ideas or a lack of trust, its because THEY SPOKE THE TRUTH AND NOBODY WANTS TO HEAR IT!!!!
Beyond that though, while I like Sanders, you have to understand what he's proposing is a Band-Aid to the problem. Essentially it boils down to wealth redistribution. He will increase taxes on the rich & corporations to pay for expanded Social Security and free college tuition and cannabis. Aside from the free pot for all, I agree with his proposals while pointing out he should have been more specific as to how exactly he plans on paying for them by now (soak the rich is fine, but what specific taxes & loopholes does he go after and how much $$$ does it raise?). I will now duck that lightening bolt sent at me for criticizing St. Bernie.

Unfortunately Sanders has been in Congress for like 30 years and he doesn't seem good at persuading his fellow Congresscritters to adopt his proposals.
So while wealth distribution is needed, its not going to solve the problem of income inequality. Income inequality is happening because the non-college educated population no longer has good manufacturing jobs with benefits, and are now forced to work low paying retail jobs. I want a President who will not only defend US manufacturing but will seek to expand it. Yes, opposing bad free trade pacts is a good start, but I want to see something more along the lines of Obama supporting the car industry. This is going to require a lot of cooperating between govt and business. I just don't see Sanders having the ability to do that because he's an absolutist. I see Clinton based on the experience of her husband's Presidency being far more likely to make progress on this front. No offense to Bernie, but he's thus far a one issue candidate and on that issue he's correct up to a point but I don't think he's getting to the heart of the problem.
