He's the newspaper version of Tucker Carlson.

Not as frothy as Limbaugh or Beck, nor as respected as O'Reilly. Just a pundit who knows who's paying his bills and knows to shill for them. He has never met an original thought in his professional life.

The biggest zinger is at the end when Hillary says she wouldn't support any limit on abortion at any time during the pregnancy. Wow! :eek: Talk about fringe!

Yep. 100% all the time is fringe. 100% none of the time is also fringe. (Me? 99% no) I think there is a goodly % that favor some sort of restrictions. However, the money is at 100% all of the time. And HRC is all about the money.

Why would they care about the mother? She's probably not even white and is definitely not a virgin. Praise the Lord for punishing that little tramp!

If 100% of the time is fringe, then how can the money be there?

Even though Roe v Wade was decided on bad reasoning, the trimester rule is a good one and actually has a long history behind it. Roe isn't fringe, and it says in the first trimester a woman's (well, a doctor's, which is why it was decided wrongly) choice of abortion is legitimate 100% of the time. That is not fringe.

If you're saying that 100% of the time for the entire length of the pregnancy is fringe, that's true, but there also probably isn't a single person on Earth who holds that view.

The opinions that are logically defensible, to me, are:

(1) Always wrong.
(2) Always wrong except when life of mother is at risk, in which case pick whichever has the best chance to pull through.
(3) Always wrong except when life of mother is at risk, in which case pick the mother.
(4) First trimester fine except when life of mother is at risk, in which case pick whichever has the best chance to pull through.
(5) First trimester fine except when life of mother is at risk, in which case pick the mother.


(1) Is the Catholic view.
(2) Would be a Utilitarian pro-life position which I've never heard anybody advocate.
(3) Is the mainstream political pro-life position.
(4) Would be a Utilitarian pro-choice position which I've never heard anybody advocate.
(5) Is the mainstream political pro-choice position.

The rape and incest exceptions muddy the waters, but they make no sense anyway. They are about punishing women for inviting sex and are feudal.

IIRC, Planned Parenthood and Emily's List are like 99.9% behind the D's in terms of money and the D's are not going to shoot the golden geese.

So a woman is raped, you think the people under the camp of "Always wrong except..." would force the woman to carry the child to term? It's the most common exception I hear from that crowd as a matter of true sympathy for the woman's plight. And since the vast majority of incest is of a rapey nature, it falls under that same exception in the "always wrong except" crowd.

Yeah, I read that and I just don't believe it. Nobody believes that you have the right to abort at 8 months. If Hillary said that she misspoke, but I think it's FAR more likely that some wingnut is just flat out lying.
