Campaign 2016 Part XXV: Fin

Here's a few thoughts...

Chances of a Trump Presidency ending in scandal like Nixon? I'd give it at least 50:50.

Also, my guess is that many... most... (all?) of the GOP establishment would rather work with Pence and there could be an inside movement to get rid of Trump. House of Cards stuff there.

Finally, you think Trump woke up today realizing that he now actually has to be POTUS? Was that a good realization for him? Did he really want the job or did he just want to win?

My opinion is that Trump is just going to be a speech making figurehead, whereas Pence will actually be working on moving policy forward provided that Trump approves of the overall idea.

Similar to how the Queen and Prime Minister work in the U.K.

So does this mean Bilderberg ordered Hillary to tank so that Trump would win? ;)

Because the people in Flint didn't vote for Trump, Bloomfield Hills and the rural parts of the state did.

Actually, Oakland County voted for Clinton. Would love to see the precinct-by-precinct breakdown.

So now you don't feel bad for minorities and poor people who get hurt by rich and powerful people who have the F you got mine (clean water) attitude and don't have their best interests in mind? That's interesting.

Yep. Exactly.

Think about it though...

Both Houses and Pence.

An establishment GOP wet dream.

Just takes one little impeachment.

One of the guys I work with had a great line this morning. He said, "I fear Trump wants to be Putin, but I suspect he just wants to be Queen Elizabeth." :D

Not when the county that Flint was in had almost 30,000 fewer votes for Clinton than Obama in 2012.

If you don't care enough about your problem to vote (or if you think that Trump and the GOP who caused this issue in the first place is the solution), I don't see why I should spend my time worrying more about your problems then you do.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXV: Fin

You know who is happiest Putin. The only thing that will keep Russia afloat is another Cold War...he just got one.

Cold war nothing. Trump will just turn a blind eye to whatever he does, letting Putin run the eastern European/Middle Eastern bloc.

And you don't see how that's a problem or that you should feel bad for those who didn't deserve this outcome? You understand what the word minority means right?

You understand the stat DX posted right?

As long as Trump just plays along with what the rest of the Establishment GOP wants, why risk angering Trump supporters and firing up the Democratic Party?

That is astounding. Screw Flint...
That's why I quoted that Newsroom speech, "liberals lose because liberals are losers." Liberals didn't want to fight for the ideals they believe and conservatives did.

That's the postmortem lesson here for the Democrats: This is a war and you have to be willing to fight.
