Corporate morality is dictated solely by profit. The GOP base shrinks every year as old racists and sexists age out. But I take your point that it's slow and there's still lots of money to be bled out of bigotry. The GOP seems to be about 50 years slow on the humanity curve. The grandparents now are still not over race, but they're dying every day. Their grandkids are over race but still have Death Cult Sharia attitudes on gender. Their grandkids will get over that, but probably still be DCS Phobes.

No, we've already seen them. It may not have been founded to be what it is today, but MSNBC is the same thing that Fox is, but only from the other political spectrum.

Rachel Maddow is the bizarro Bill O'Reilly (including the inverse ratings).

That was Fox's secret: the GOP outsourced its marketing (literally, if you look at who Ailes was and who he hired) and the two entities traded personnel back and forth. People sell their soul to be seen on tv. They'll have no problem finding people to appear, party or no party.

Also, it doesn't exactly take half the country to keep a network going. FOX draws what, maybe 2 million viewers at any given time. Heck, poker on tv will draw near a million. This is not 1960's television.

MSNBC is like Air America radio. It's an attempt to make money off lefties the way Hate Radio does off righties. As far as I know, it's failing, just as AA did. But it was a moneymaking enterprise. The genius of FNC is it would have been run by Ailes et al. even as a loss leader to keep the useful idiots voting to lower the top marginal rate.

Up until Roger the Hutt was expectorated out of Fox (for sexual predation -- huh, go figure) I would have bet that FNC would go on as the GOP bullhorn forever, but now I don't know. As their ickygenerian audience literally dies, FNC may reach a day where the balance shifts and selling Whole Foods to lefties becomes cost effective.

That is true because Maddow is a policy wonk that has a brain and O'Reilly is a 2-bit clown who probably doesnt know how a bill becomes a law :D

They show some tanks, some dudes with guns, and a couple of widely reported images of Mrs. Clinton and it's "inappropriate content"?
