Hit the link. YouTube has put the "Restricted Mode" tag onto it.

Uh, seriously?
They show some tanks, some dudes with guns, and a couple of widely reported images of Mrs. Clinton and it's "inappropriate content"?

If there's something "inappropriate" in that ad (save the "Trump's face" snark, I just covered it) please point it out because I'm missing it.

Similar to the scrooged ad that got bobcat golthwait fired :D

Paul LaPage Went Full Derp

“Sometimes I wondered that our Constitution is not only broken, but we need a Donald Drumpf to show some authoritarian power in our country and bring back the rule of law,” LePage said, The Huffington Post reports. “Because we’ve had eight years of a president, he’s an autocrat, he just does it on his own, he ignores Congress and every single day, we’re slipping into anarchy.”

So I'm having some trouble with his logic there...

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXI: Do you love farce? My fault, I fear.

This was covered on Sam Bee's show; it was very moving.

My favorite was showing all the Republicans with their "I have a daughter/mother/sister/etc. so this offends me" speeches and her pointing out literally everyone has a female relative, and that shouldn't be a prerequisite to finding it offensive.

Oh...see your problem is you are actually LOOKING for the logic! The brilliance of him is he doesnt use logic...he sees no need for it :D

Filter out logic and solve again ;)

But if you're going to say that you need one authoritarian guy to fix the country because the previous guy was authoritarian, could you at least not say it in consecutive sentences? Place a few more in between there, make me work to find the crazy.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXI: Do you love farce? My fault, I fear.

Duce! Duce!!!

You forgot some letters.

Trump told supporters at his rally tonight to make sure they get out and vote on November 28th. Honest mistake. That's actually the day his Trump U fraud case starts.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXI: Do you love farce? My fault, I fear.

The pressure of the campaign is getting to Trump...

"... There has never been anything like this, so go and register, make sure you get out and vote, November 28th. If you've already registered..."

Yep, you heard (or read) that right. Trump wants his supporters to get out and vote. Twenty days AFTER the election. :D

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXI: Do you love farce? My fault, I fear.

Sorry but he really doesnt. How is him saying people shouldnt vote because they arent informed any different than when someone on the Left says "voters are stupid" or that they have to get out and vote? Its the same thing dressed up a different way. I agree people should be informed, and should do everything they can to know who and what they are voting for...but if they choose not to be and still want to vote that is their business and their right. (as it is our right to mock them) He is no more right to encourage them to stay home than the Hollywood types are to tell them to vote. Why is his opinion any more relevant than theirs? Either both are right (which goes against his thesis) or both are wrong. (which also goes against his thesis) Interesting though that he is saying the uninformed/uneducated are the problem (they are the reason we have these two according to him) yet in August he took issue with the fact that the media seemed to always point out that the average Drumpf voter is uneducated. So the media says it and he gets offended, but you say it and OH MAN HE TOTALLY GETS IT!

I like Mike Rowe and agree with him often, but he wouldnt be saying any of this if one of the lesser clowns (who were not really that much better hence why they lost to this loser) was up instead of Drumpf. He is now acting as a voice of a phenomena that is sweeping through the Right side of the aisle...it is the next logical step after the false equivocation. Now instead of "Vote for Drumpf Cause He and Clinton Arent That Different" it has morphed into "Dont Vote For Anyone Because They Both Suck And We Are Screwed!". All those people I saw on FB and Twitter backing Drumpf have been forced to admit they had it totally wrong...but instead of just taking their medicine they want to go Scorched Earth and burn the whole thing to the ground instead of just sucking it up. This is not some moral stand...some philosophical struggle within...this is them backing the wrong horse, the horse crapping all over them and instead of cleaning up they would rather wipe the crap all over the house because they have to ruin it for everyone. They are like the Bernie or Bust losers...only instead of a minority it is the 14 million nimrods dumb enough to fall for his crap.

Vote, dont vote...whatever. But lets not pretend any celebrity "gets it" just because they pretend to have a crisis of faith. The Liberal Left of Hollywood has an agenda and so does Mike Rowe and neither is pure. To sugeest or imply otherwise (which both sides do and you are doing now by saying he "gets it") is disingenuous. He doesnt "get it" more than Deniro does, or Jon Voight, or me or you.

In Wikileaks ongoing effort to try and prove they are another Proganda Wing for Putin they are claiming that that Clinton's Communications director got a question for the Town Hall early from Donna Brazile. Brazile denies it of course...

Of course at least one of the questions leaked early as it was posted on this very site so I am not sure what the controversy is. Unless Wikileaks is saying that ABC and CNN are in cahoots to get Clinton elected...which funny, sounds strangely like what Donald was saying at the debate. I wonder why that is...

Bravo. Not voting is cowardly imho.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXI: Do you love farce? My fault, I fear.

I...Uhhh...Yeah I Got Nothing

I am not sure I have ever seen so many idiotic things said in such a short article. Even the Donald would be awed

BTW to clarify something I said earlier...I dont have a problem with Mike Rowe or anyone else telling you not to vote...but lets not pretend people who dont vote or advocate for it have some moral high ground. People like to pretend they are some ethical messiah because they came to the conclusion both sides suck but if pressed they couldnt tell you why. If you rail against people who vote blindly or ignorantly you cede the moral high ground when you null vote with the same laziness. (my candidate sucks and out of principle I wont vote for yours!)

Again it is your choice to vote or not, it is your choice to educate yourself or not. Dont listen to anyone else choose for yourself. If you are voting for someone because an actor told you too remember they have an agenda. If you are staying home because a celebrity suggested it remember they do to.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXI: Do you love farce? My fault, I fear.

I have to disagree. Voting is a fundamental right. You have a right to be informed. You have a right to be uniformed. You have aright to vote one issue. You have a right to consider many issues.

Um, that's what Rowe says. It's a right. Not necessarily a duty.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXI: Do you love farce? My fault, I fear.

Um, that's what Rowe says. It's a right. Not necessarily a duty.

No, he really doesn't. He's implying that that you shouldn't vote if you are uninformed. That's persuading people and no different than anyone who says it's your duty to vote. It's your choice and your right. And he leaves out the most important thing. By not voting you deny yourself the right to complain.

I don’t even know where to begin because Mike just put it perfectly. People simply encourage others to vote regardless of how informed they are, and that could lead to problems. Heck, how do you think we got stuck with Trump, and Clinton as the two major candidates?

That comment there says it all. How many people didn't vote? And who the **** is doing all the complaining?
