This story is devastating on multiple levels. Obviously it fits with a well known pattern of Trump's views on women. In this tape his words, actions, and policies can all be summed up by his attitude when he didn't think he was being recorded. GOP women may not be voting for Hillary, but I find it hard to see how they vote for him now.
Second, the public doesn't like all this vulgarity out of its leaders regardless of how naïve that might be. I was too young for Watergate, but when the tapes were released I read that people had two negative reactions: 1) the lawbreaking, 2) how much Nixon swore, like he was a common thug. How can evangelicals vote for the guy? Even the "he turned over a new leaf with Wife #3" is now out the window.
While objectifying women and making claims like this are bad...the real damaging quote is that he was how he was going after married women. That's where traditional conservatives will really struggle.
