This story is devastating on multiple levels. Obviously it fits with a well known pattern of Trump's views on women. In this tape his words, actions, and policies can all be summed up by his attitude when he didn't think he was being recorded. GOP women may not be voting for Hillary, but I find it hard to see how they vote for him now.

Second, the public doesn't like all this vulgarity out of its leaders regardless of how naïve that might be. I was too young for Watergate, but when the tapes were released I read that people had two negative reactions: 1) the lawbreaking, 2) how much Nixon swore, like he was a common thug. How can evangelicals vote for the guy? Even the "he turned over a new leaf with Wife #3" is now out the window.

I saw somebody quote a pastor from deep Pennsyltucky last week that Trump was sent from God to win the election, then die off immediately to clear the way for Pence.

You're naive if you think morality has anything to do with why evangelicals vote the way they do.

evan's will defer to point #1 and hold their nose (all assuming of course he doesn't drop out). the same way D voters didn't mind a rapist in 92 & 96 ;)

heard last night the apprentice files have HOURS of this that mark burnett (sp?) has in a safe :D

(access hollywood appears to have a bit also. this was only a sniff)

Frankly, the GOP position is that a) others say stuff like this (they don't, at least re: marriage) b) let's get back to the issues.

The dems position should be...do you really want your 10 yr old daughter to have a role model in a president with this type of behavior?

Actually, I'd hope that people wouldn't want their ten year old <b>son </b> to have a role model like that either.

From what I caught on CNN, Access Hollywood was going to run the show with these clips NEXT week, after the debate, but someone within the network leaked them. Apparently the network isn't too happy (guessing because RATINGS!!!) about it.

Sure. Then hopefully pols do as little moral damage as possible to the countries they govern.
