People are making the mistake the Trump is tapping into something new in the GOP. This strain of bigotry has been part of the GOP and conservatism for years. He's just bringing it to the forefront, and now a bunch of people who felt this way but kept it quiet out of fear of being labeled a Neanderthal are realizing there's millions of people out there just like them. Hence the over the top enthusiasm for Trump rallies.

People are ticked off that their jobs are being off shored or taken by somebody fresh off the boat. They are ticked off that they are barely above water working blue collar jobs while the government gives all sorts of goodies to people who don't work. People are ticked off that they serve the government rather than the other way around.

All is well on the Upper West Side and in Beverly Hills and in the upper class neighborhoods were people make money by moving electrons or playing to other people's fantasies. But look beyond the front of your Potemkin village and the serfs are not a happy bunch.

When a bunch of angry people become a mob and the mob continues to grow in size and anger, all is not well.

Trump and Bernie realize this. I wonder if they realize that they may be a catalyst to an out of control chain reaction.

1. Watch Trump get the GOP nod despite every attempt by the establishment to prevent that from happening.
2. Watch Hillary get indicted leaving Sanders to get the Dem nod.
3. Pop Popcorn
4. Enjoy

Well then "people" should have figured out they were getting screwed long ago and voted accordingly. The problem isn't giving tax dollars to illegal immigrants. The problem is conservative economics from the time of Reagan, which basically says sit around with your thumb up your a ss while other countries (mainly China) steal your jobs. What good has all that union busting of Reagan-Thatcher done, joe? Accelerated jobs going overseas? Great - um..wait a minute, why is that a good thing?

A lot of people want to blame trade deals and there's some truth to that. Americans are realizing that getting cheaper products at Mao-Mart is no longer worth sacrificing US jobs. However, I'm not aware of too many massive trade deals with first Japan and then China who are the biggest source of lost jobs. Rather those countries supported their industries while the US did not until the Banking industry & Auto industry bailouts. If say steel production hits a rough patch in China, that country will float the industry along until it regains health. Over here, we close down all factories, never to reopen again even if times get better due to the huge start up/re-start costs. Small wonder why half of steel production is now done over there.

Auto bailout should be model for how private business and govt cooperate with each other.

that reminds me, don't order your supply of "stainless steel" springs from "Lee Spring" with the idea of saving money. It will not end well. :o

Regarding protests, I'm not in favor of activists shutting down anybody's rallies. Saying in this case that they're Sanders supporters is a bit of a stretch, but it fits nicely into Trump's campaign theme of un-patriotic people ruining America from within.

The auto bailout violated every bankruptcy law on the books.

Saw a meme earlier this weekend Pro tD saying if they advertised a tD rally as a Job Fair... [needed to scroll down] all the liberals would stay home.

I got as far as the Job Fair and thought- hmm, is he bringing home all the jobs he sent overseas or possibly stopping getting all the overseas people on visa for his companies? then I scrolled down.

If people are worried about jobs, the guy is one of the folks who owns companies participating in the very policies they hate. Curious no one seems to make this connection. Has he instituted any initiative in his companies to make the situation better? <- serious question. Trying to Google this gives up pages and pages of spin.

Context matters.

btw she is going to eat Trump for lunch when they finally debate.

When tD blames 9/11 on her for being a horrible, terrible wife and distracting bubba - who had to get a BJ from an intern - while she did nothing!!!! I don't see her eating for a while :)

Women voters are gonna looooove that!

There's a minority of women who would agree with that. Have you talked to conservative women lately? Or watched them on TV? It's amazing what they'll say. Greta Van Sustern just pulled a doozy on International Women's Day that John Oliver pointed out last night.

In all honesty, the industries for which Drumpf is known are not the sorts of industries sending jobs overseas. He's mostly in entertainment, real estate, and construction. He might have other businesses that could send jobs outside America, and I wouldn't doubt it, but the bigger question that could fry him is to research if his companies have ever been busted by ICE for employee illegal aliens.

He owns and runs golf courses. Chances are pretty high.

I'm sure there are. Unfortunately I'm not sure the vast majority of women are going to like blaming the wife for her husband's cheating, nor throwing in the cause of 9/11 on top of that! Rover thinks mookie's losing his fastball. ;)

He's big into hotels and casinos, too, which are traditionally ripe with illegal aliens between the laundry service, kitchen staff, housekeeping, and countless other positions in those industries. I'm surprised we haven't seen reports from news services out to destroy him.

The GOP is going to jump all over this and claim it's "those gol' durn' 'Merica-hatin' libruls!" They've been looking for a way to turn the Drumpfstaffel's anger away from them and towards anybody else.

It's speaks volumes that the apotheosis of conservative politics is one last rerun of the culture battle of 1968. One last spurt from the Birchers before they disappear into the history books beside George Wallace and Frank Rizzo.

You mean like claiming that the woman giving the Nazi salute was actually a Bernie organizer? (Spolier alert: she wasn't.)
