Being blissfully free of Facebook I'm not sure what you're referring to. Is it some variation of "we can't waste money on curing diphtheria because Billy Bob is still stationed in Kabul"?

More like "I went on a Million Student March...to Afghanistan!" Then it will be a picture of a soldier shot or something...total crap and it is completely using soldiers to try and slap down anything these people disagree with. (and yes it is my Righty friends who post them)

Oh it's not harmless as ex-military are likely the ones to be posting it. And it's often difficult to tell an Iraq veteran he's a *ing idiot in today's society.

Right now I've got a lot of people on Facebook complaining about the $15 minimum wage protests. There's rarely ever an economic argument, saying that it could create more unemployment due to rising salary costs for businesses. It's almost always a post trying to demean other works. Something along the lines of "Try doing something more with your life than fast food!" or "I don't even make that much at my job now!"

Do these people value themselves so low that rather than thinking maybe they should be earning more at their job, they would rather attack others for trying to improve their lives?

Oh I have seen that one mashed up with the military one! Something like "you think you deserve to make $15 to flip burgers" with a pick of a wounded veteran.

Then the next post by the same guy would say "Obama should worry about getting jobs for our vets instead of jobs for illegal aliens". Yep...

My personal favorite story along these lines is an attorney who stated in a public forum on the record with as much condescension as possible, "Obviously all work is commendable, but we're talking a $10/hr job. I could go get one right now if I needed to."

Nice try. When one of the right wing nutjob 'journalists' does their thing, you loudly proclaim/generalize that all conservative people are listening and believe what is being said. Then, when an equal opportunity nutjob 'journalist' from your liberal persuasion does the same thing, you sit here and try to tell us that nobody on the left listens or believes it. What a load of crap.

The morons at Fox News have jobs and ratings because plenty of people lap up everything they say. The morons at MSNBC have jobs and (albeit, lower) ratings because plenty of people lap up everything they say. You don't have to like it, but deep down you know it's true. Your attempt at excusing the entirety of the liberal population is laughable.

Oh yeah, according to the right wing nuts the military is the solution to everything. And sadly a lot of ex-military (and military) is part of that.

The Donald feels the heat.

I remember a lot of people wondering how Trump would handle things if the time came when he was no longer leading in the polls. I guess now we know. It's too much for his ego to stand, and the phenomenal self-discipline he's been showing recently is utterly shattered. Can you imagine what Trump would be like if he ever had a genuinely stressful job, like, um, you know?
