I'm not aware of much of a rivalry between NM and AZ sports wise in any sport. You'd think U of A basketball and UNM basketball might becomes rivals, given the success of both programs at times, but it's never developed that I'm aware of. But, see, I'm an ASU guy, so I guess your U of A connection is another rivalry we've got going. Territorial Cup Series winners in Tempe 3 years running baby!

My brother-in-law went to ASU. And the Seattle Mariners' original spring training camp was in Tempe, and I'm a Mariner fan, so there's that.

I moved out of Tempe a few years ago, but I promise you it wasn't because you're a fan of a team whose training camp used to be there. Some of the spring training facilities now cost more than stadiums in the teams' home towns used to cost. My recollection is the Cubs' new facility in Mesa cost about $100 million. Whereas old Compadre Stadium, where I went to see the Brewers play in spring training, couldn't have cost more than a few million and was a faint shadow of the facilities teams have now.

The Bone Man a.k.a. Jobs Jobs Jobs doesn't like Mr. Cruz very much.

Speaker of the House John Boehner stunned audience members Wednesday evening at a Colorado fundraiser by referring to Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz as a “*******,” two people in attendance tell The Daily Caller.

At a Steamboat Springs event for GOP Rep. Scott Tipton, the Ohio Republican quipped that he likes how Cruz’s presidential campaign keeps “that *******” out of Washington, and from telling Boehner how to do his job.

That remark rubbed some attendees the wrong way.

“I don’t think it’s terribly speaker-like, and I think it kind of goes against everything that Reagan ever said about disparaging Republicans,” said Ed MacArthur, the president of Native Excavating, who attended the fundraiser.

“It’s becoming very disturbing to me that we can’t have good, polite conversation,” MacArthur said. “It all has to be at the throat.”

It's a weird world where Democrats observe the 11th commandment while Republicans hamstring each other.

There's an entire generation now who think of Democrats as the organized party and Republicans as the chaotic one. Truly amazing.

mookie met him when mookie was volunteering for Bush 41s re-election run. mookie worked in elsie hillman's office in pittsburgh which doubled as RNC local headquarters and the then congressman had a desk.

mrs hillman was mookie's kind of republican. i can't imagine mrs hillman enjoyed donating office space to this boob. he is as unimpressive as a person could be.

I'm saying they are on both sides. However when disgruntled negros burn their own neighborhoods and shoot cops it is enlightened and when moron southie punks roll a homeless Hispanic guy they are offspring of pol pot.

BLM and such may currently have the loudest bullhorn - and subsequently generate more debate thereby inflating the apparent outrage of the events they froth over - I doubt you'll find too many others that don't find either scenario more acceptable than the other.

When you ignore the idiocy in your own house or worse yet justify it, any concrete argument you try to enlist falls flat. And worst of all you help fire up the idiots on the other side.

Us vs them is the same whether it is white/black, rich/poor, or citizen/illegal
When will the coloreds learn not to riot over cops shooting innocent neighbors and learn to do it over their favorite team losing a sporting event?

So Santorum is trying to shift it seems. (based on his Real Time appearance) He shied away from the crazy rhetoric for the most part and tried to sound almost human. I honestly believe if he had run this way 4 years ago he might have beaten Mitt. He might be smart to keep this strategy up because as people drop out he can pick up support and well he cant out crazy Trump so better to at least seem semi-sane despite the fact that he hates gays, is misogynistic and is a war monger. He needs to avoid saying Huckabee or Cruz like stupid stuff and let the rest destroy each other. (what Jeb! could do if he wasnt Dubya's brother)

He played his appearance on Maher perfectly. Maher did OK, too -- Santorum came on to get attacked so he could play the martyr to The Base and Bill gave him nothing.

And her "unfavorable" among independents went from 53% to 61% in just one month - that is not a good vector.

It's still 5 months until the primaries. The #'s could reverse themselves.

Moderate poll number changes don't matter. What matters is the reason for the change and whether its a legitimate long term issue.
