Business, Economics, and Taxes: Eat Cereal for Dinner

What's amazing is CNBC had a couple slides of stocks doing well despite the market wide sell off, including a surprise with PepsiCo.
Pepsi is laying people off and shutting down plants so investors are probably happy...

And of course CNBC would be shielding people from the truth...who do you think most of them voted for? They were openly hostile to anyone who didn't tow the Trump line that the economy sucked before the election.

I don't think they're shielding. I didn't have the volume up but I think they were surprised that not everything fell off a cliff like the Price is Right mountain climber.

Also, I've never seen CNBC be this spicy with a giant DJI / S&P / NASDAQ taking up 1/6th of the screen (on top of them in rotation on the bottom ticker).

Self preservation. Wall Street traders know that if things really go to shit they’re going to lose their shirts AND they’re likely first in line to the guillotine.

Watching Target crash is delightful...they have always been evil.
Well, one silver lining, airline travel may suddenly have a large supply as the demand will diminish because people won't be able to afford it, so prices could drop like during the pandemic. And I plan on some major air travel in the next 12 months...

I was thinking that as well. I wouldn't be surprised if an airline goes under...
