2020 recruit Cade Webber earned the first star in The Rivers School's 5-4 win over New Hampton in the prep small school tournament. Webber scored a short-handed goal and was a force at both ends of the ice. NeutralZonePrep.com:
Defenseman Cade Webber looked flat-out awesome; his combined size and skating ability along with his ability to win puck battles and make plays in the offensive and defensive zones are all reasons why he will be a highly touted NHL prospect.

Re: BU Recruiting Update, Part 4

It would seem Driscoll will arrive next season, as he's already 20 years old. This brings the total of freshman D next year to 5. Switzer was honored at senior night so it's safe to assume he won't be returning for a fifth academic year, Fabbro is leaving once the season ends, so this leaves 5 more potentially returning D, for 10 in total. Seems like one too many. Is Driscoll an insurance policy if one or more of Farrance/Krys leaves or if Blixt decides to transfer?

Are you including Cade Webber in the five Ds? A New England Hockey Journal article last week stated: "Webber hasn’t solidified his game plan for next season, although he’ll likely play junior hockey. What is set in stone is where he’ll be in the autumn of 2020 — Boston University."

Driscoll, a '98, is a 6'2" LD and the top-scoring D on middle-of-the-NAHL standings Janesville. Had one season in the BCHL and played HS in Wisconsin, as well as for Team Wisconsin.

I was, yes. I'd only read briefly that he was a target for this fall.

Re: BU Recruiting Update, Part 4

Ya know, I'm thrilled with all these defensemen coming in but if we don't find somebody who can put the puck into the fuking net get used to a lot more years like this one.

<script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Three BU 2021 recruits--Boucher, Wilmer and Schmidt--selected for next year's U17s. Wilmer and Schmidt are ranked in the top 15 for the OHL priority draft, but are likely to be picked in later rounds due to commits to NTDP and BU.

Jack Hughes changed his birthday and is going back to dominate U-17's? And a Luke? Do you automatically make the team if you have the name Hughes?

Re: BU Recruiting Update, Part 4

BU recruit Danny Zhilkin taken 14th overall by Guelph Storm in the OHL Priority Draft. Can't see an OHL team wasting a first round pick on someone who won't play for them. My guess is he ain't going to BU now. No mention in his twitter of a BU commit just a Guelph Storm prospect.
