-Bobo Carpenter: 3 assists in Sioux City 4-3 OT win vs. Omaha
-Jordan Greenway: 2 assists in NTDP U18s’ 6-4 loss to Muskegon
-Maxim Letunov: 1 goal in Youngstown’s 4-2 loss to NTDP U18s
2016:
-Vas Kolias: Power play assist in Youngstown’s 4-2 loss to NTDP U18s
-Patrick Harper: 4 goals, 2 assists in 18U NV River Rats’ 16-1 win vs. DS River Hawks; 2 assists in NV River Rats’ 2-2 tie with Springfield Rifles
-Clayton Keller: 1 assist in NTDP U17s 5-2 loss to Muskegon
2017:
-David Farrance: 2 goals, 2 assist in Syracuse’ Stars U16s 11-0 win over Bay State; 2 goals, 1 assist in Syracuse’s 6-1 win over Bay State
Farrance has 12-9-21 in nine league games.

Regardless of how old one is (or isn't)... Being known as "a top" of said age group would make them "elite".

I'd bet the house that not all of the 14 recruits BU has verbals for over the next 4 classes come, but I'd also guess that 11+ of them do, so I guess it depends on your definition of many.
I'd also make the same type of statements about most other schools' current pipeline of commits. Such is the current recruiting environment.
Many of these 'elite' recruits will ever make it to BU. Let's be real

JFK (as he's called) is in his second season at USHL Omaha and joins the 2015 recruit class. Reportedly came down to BU and Minnesota. Central Scouting gave him a B rating in the prelim players to watch list. Has played on Swedish U17 and U18 teams and is a candidate for this year's World Junior Championships.
